Since 2003 Jacaranda has been providing permanent candidates from Europe for Social Work and Social Care posts. Our commitment is to long-term staffing solutions and ethical business.

We provide Social Workers, Social Pedagogues and Care Professionals to work in all service areas of Social Services as well as Residential Childcare and Support for Adults with Disabilities amongst others.

Jacaranda provides recruitment services, consultancy and training services to local authorities, charities and private providers.

Founder and Managing Director, Abby Ladbrooke leads a team based in South London. We maintain the highest standards in our own staff recruitment. Jacaranda staff are all at least bi-lingual and have experience of living or working away from the home-country, enabling us to assess candidates’ with a personal touch.

All staff have a structured induction, support from the team, monthly supervision and annual performance reviews. We focus on the development of project leadership and recruitment management skills. A career development pathway is accessible to all staff. We continually build our knowledge in social care, undertaking training, attending industry events and keep abreast of developments in the sector.

Partnerships

Jacaranda works in partnership with the National Centre of Excellence in Residential Child Care and the Thomas Coram Research Unit in running the website Social Pedagogy UK www.SocialPedagogyUK.com

Jacaranda is the official recruitment partner of the Thomas Coram Research Unit on the DCSF funded pilot project assessing the potential of Social Pedagogy in the residential child care sector in England (2009 – 2012).

We work with carefully selected and managed in-country agents, European academic institutions, labour authorities throughout Europe and UK and other European press.
