As a recruitment agency focusing on international recruitment of Social Workers we are happy to fulfill a contract as preferred supplier or provide ad hoc services.
Our aim is to understand your requirements and work in cooperation with you, in a way that suits you. We listen carefully and tailor our service accordingly. We can also guide you through an overseas recruitment campaign – here is a suggested process:

Vacancy Definition

We gather details of your Social Work vacancies, including job description, person profile and remuneration. Let us know what level of experience would match the dynamics of your existing team/s and provide details of career opportunities.

Candidate Sourcing and Pre-screening

We provide you with a candidate profile on suitable qualified Social Workers. This will include details of experience and qualifications.

Terminology varies from one system to another and from one country to another. A competency based approach to selection and interviewing ensures a clear understanding of candidates’ skills and capabilities. For this reason we provide you with case studies, which draw on the professional social work experience of the candidate.

Interview Management

Based on this information, you invite candidates for interview.

We hold a small stock of your application forms and encourage candidates to complete these and return them to you prior to, or at, interview.

Jacaranda Recruitment assists with the logistics of an interview, including dates, travel and venue. Telephone interviews can be arranged prior to face-to-face interviews in the United Kingdom.

Processing

Following interview, final checks on qualifications, references and police checks are conducted. A formal written job offer follows.

Deployment

Together with you we develop a Welcome Programme. This ranges from a Meet and Greet service upon arrival in the UK to an information pack on local services and amenities, assistance in opening a bank account, finding suitable accommodation and ensuring that your new recruits have a mentor/buddy.

The process of Social Worker recruitment does not end here. We are on hand to assist after the placement, assisting with retention, too. Our background in inter-cultural exchange enables us to assist with successful integration. Support is offered on an ongoing basis.
